Dean Wilson’s personality and talent have made him a fan favorite in AMA competition. The Scottish-born, Canadian transplant has shown he has the speed to be one of the top riders on the track. After winning four straight Canadian National Championships as an Amateur, Wilson came to America where he won the 2009 AMA Horizon Award, recognizing the best amateur motocross rider, before turning pro. In his first event as a pro, Wilson won the B-Final at the Motocross of Nations, a precursor to the success he would soon find. Overall Wilson has claimed the 2011 MX250cc championship with five career motocross wins. In supercross competition, Wilson has won six times and will be chasing top finishes in 2017 aboard his Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing machine. Injuries have slowed Wilson during the last few seasons, but the Scot is back on track and gunning for the podium.
