Position Summary and Duties
The Account Coordinator for the Kawasaki Marketing account at Next Level supports the Marketing department’s daily operations under the direction of the Next Level Account Director. The role involves close collaboration with Kawasaki Marketing and PR to execute a range of tasks, including:
Event Support: Assist in planning and executing press intro events, including site visits, travel coordination, and building relationships with new media. Contribute to post-event KHI reports.
Content Development: Collaborate with the team to write press releases for new product launches and create technical presentations for Kawasaki products.
Media Relations: Pitch Kawasaki product stories to endemic media, manage media tracking, log articles in spreadsheets, and maintain the Kawasaki PR magazine library.
Asset Management: Coordinate with Kawasaki Marketing to manage Webdam assets (images, videos, logos), including sorting, filing, and uploading.
Reporting: Capture data for 72-hour recaps and quarterly media hit reports. Assist in creating a season-end “proof of performance” keynote with press clippings, video clips, and promotional materials for Kawasaki PR and executives.
Administrative Duties: Process invoices, manage expense reports, maintain and update contact lists, book travel for the marketing team and journalists, and handle package shipping/tracking. Perform general tasks like filing, typing, copying, and scanning.
Special Projects: Support Kawasaki Marketing with tasks such as Bank of America credit card reconciliation, press kit assembly, flash drive creation, and coordination with the graphics department for press materials. Assist with estimates, parts/accessories orders, and sourcing event amenities.
Media Tools: Use Meltwater News/Active Campaign for press release distribution and media list management. Log media accolades in the Kawasaki PR database and coordinate media reporting for other departments as needed.
Additional Responsibilities: Work on various projects as assigned by Next Level to support Kawasaki Marketing’s objectives.
This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining effective communication with internal teams and external partners.
Education and Experience
A bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent from a four-year college is required.
Skills and Qualifications

Event Coordination: Experience or ability to assist in planning and executing events, including travel arrangements and relationship-building with media.
Media Relations: Familiarity with pitching stories, managing media lists, and using tools like Meltwater News/Active Campaign for press release distribution.
Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with data capture, report creation (e.g., 72-hour recaps, quarterly reports), and asset management systems like Webdam.
Administrative Competence: Proficient in invoice processing, filing, typing, scanning, and managing contact lists or databases.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work under direction, coordinate with internal teams (e.g., graphics department), and support cross-departmental tasks.
Attention to Detail: Precision in tasks like credit card reconciliation, logging media accolades, and preparing keynote presentations.
Adaptability: Flexibility to handle diverse projects, from sourcing event materials to assisting with special marketing tasks.
Time Management: Capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment while handling recurring reports and ad-hoc requests.
